About these terms
These terms are between you and GhostAxis, operator of TrovaStep Lite in Nigeria. They apply to the Lite app. By creating an account or joining a challenge, you accept them. Our Lite privacy notice explains how we handle your data.
Eligibility
TrovaStep Lite is intended for people aged 18 or older. You may hold only one account. Lite has free challenges only: no entries, fees, prize pots, payments or payouts.
Your account
Lite and TrovaStep use the same account. Keep your sign-in method and codes secure. Choose a username that is not offensive, misleading or someone else's name. Tell us at support@trovastep.ng if you think someone else has access.
Free challenges
Each challenge has a start date, length and daily goal shown before you join. Each person must meet their own goal on every challenge day to finish. A missed day does not become final while the review window is still open. Other members can see your username, progress and final result. Free Crown challenges show standings and use the same step rules.
Counting steps
Days run midnight to midnight in Nigerian time, even when you travel. With your permission, steps come from Health Connect, Apple Health or your phone's sensors. Manually entered steps never count. Keep the app and your health source connected so steps can sync before a result becomes final.
Fair play
Do not use step-shaking devices, emulators, modified apps, another person's phone or account, or other methods that create steps you did not walk. Do not use multiple accounts or interfere with the service. We check step records and device integrity to keep challenges fair.
Reviews and appeals
We may flag a challenge day for review before its result is final. You can ask us to explain a flagged day and submit evidence at support@trovastep.ng. A missed day under review is not final until the review process ends.
Standings and badges
Your crew can see your challenge standings. Joining the public leaderboard is optional; if you join, other Lite users can see your username and weekly credited steps. You can leave it. Badges and streaks recognise activity but do not change challenge results.
Ads and optional rewards
Lite is free and displays labelled Sponsored cards in Find and the Leaderboard. You may choose to watch a video ad for an available reward. A reward may protect a streak or unlock a style or view, within the limits shown in the app. It cannot add steps, change a challenge day, alter rank or affect anyone else's result. Your health
TrovaStep Lite is not medical advice. Walk at a level that is safe for you. Speak to a doctor before increasing activity if you have a health condition, and stop if you feel unwell.
Availability
We work to keep Lite available, but maintenance, networks and device limitations can interrupt it. If an outage on our side prevents step syncing for a challenge day, we will review affected results fairly.
Closing your account
You can request deletion at any time. Because both apps share one account, deletion applies to both. Active participation in the main TrovaStep app may need to finish before deletion can complete. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms or the law, and explain why unless the law prevents it.
Our liability
We provide Lite with reasonable care and skill. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect loss or steps your device or health source fails to record or share. Nothing here limits rights you have under applicable consumer law.
Disputes
These terms are governed by Nigerian law. Contact us first so we can try to resolve a problem. If we cannot, disputes are handled by the courts of Nigeria.
Changes
We will update the effective date when these terms change. We will tell you in the app before significant changes take effect.
